7 Friendsgiving Tips + Paleo Pumpkin Pie Recipe

I guess “Friendsgiving” has been a thing for a while now. This year we finally decided to jump on the bandwagon. I mean what’s better than a second Thanksgiving dinner, friends, and games? As you will notice, we happened to pull this off two weeks before Christmas – (AFTER TURKEY DAY) but there’s no rules, right? TIP #1: NO RULES.  Do whatever is comfortable and do what is “you”! Over “pinteresting” will depress & demotivate! So we sent an invite out to some dear friends, coordinated who brought what festive dish, and got to decorating and party planning. Is there anything better than an afternoon admiring brilliant gardens and quirky primates? The answer is, YES. Spending it with an amazing mother and sister takes the cake. An early Mothers’ Day celebration was the perfect excuse. Monkey See…  Over a lingering lunch we reminisced about the power of a mother’s influence, the power a mother’s prayers, the power of a mother’s kindness, and the power of a mother’s love in our lives. I will forever be indebted and full of gratitude that these characteristics exude from MY mom. She whittled three straight flying arrows that each hit the bullseye of life!
